Aldworth Manor is the future home of Half Cut Tea’s Artist Residencies. We’re excited for this next adventure and  wanted to share the story of this historic estate that we’re now a part of.

Aldworth Manor is a beautiful, yet neglected, estate perched on 160 acres in western New Hampshire that was set to be demolished and sold off for lots earlier this year. That’s when Shane Long found the property and saw that Aldworth was worth much more than anyone was giving it credit for. Wishing to restore this beautiful estate back to its former glory Shane purchased the dilapidated estate and has taken on the task of rehabbing it room by room, acre by acre.

Cranbrook Academy of Art – Masamichi Udagawa

Here’s a short video on designer Masamichi Udagawa that we made for Cranbrook Academy Of Art. This is one of ten videos Cranbrook will be releasing over the next few months.

If you’ve spent any length of time in New York City, you’ve likely seen the work of Masamichi Udagawa (Design ’91). His company, Antenna Designs, created the most recent subway cars operating throughout the city. His user-center design approach has earned him awards such as an IDEA Gold Award, an ID Magazine “Best-Of” Award and First Prize of Japan’s Good Design Award. His work continues to explore the relationship between new technology and its meaning in mass-society, where technology alters our environment and our perception.
